The production firm “Ivi-037” was founded in 1987. It was made as a family firm modeled on companies where generational production of a product is made. Because only such a fixed product can lead to perfection. I am the third generation dealing with the production of a tape for grafting/budding fruit trees and roses. Initially, we were engaged in the production of paper confection and adding rolls. In 1994, we imported the technology of production of tape strap, ie tape for grafting fruit trees and rose.
With continuous improvement, we have created a product that meets all the characteristics that are necessary for the production of fruit trees and roses. We did not want to deal with the production of other products until the Grafting/budding tape is brought to the level of the perfection. The hose must be of a certain size with conical ends so that the grafter can work faster. The thickness of the film is very important, but the thermal processing of the same is also necessary. Each detail on the spool track is precisely controlled during production and as such allows easier operation with Grafting/Budding tape.
G/B tapes are a product that, after the grafting is done, it is wrapped several times on the spool. Tapes do not allow the air and bacteria inside grafted plant to penetrate and damage the spool. It is sufficiently stretchable to allow the seedlings to grow unharmed. The tape will not burn in the sun when scrubbing occurs during the summer period because it is thermally treated.
With the help of our G/B tape, the very action of the grafting ends very quickly. Because it is made from the stretch foil, due to the very way of production, the tape does not lose its bonding properties and therefore remains stuck for at least a month. The grafting performance is from 98% to even 100% of the hollowed branches.
Biggest producers of fruit trees use our tape because they saw the cheapest and the easiest way to finish grafting. Also, our best professors from the Faculty of Agriculture (Poljo.fak. In Novi Sad and Cacak), who are engaged in grafting problems, have been using our tape for many years.
